CASE STUDY - HILTON HOTEL AND RESIDENCES SURFERS PARADISE

 

Tuscan was engaged by Multiplex as the hotel development consultant, hotel asset manager and as the director and licensee in charge of establishing and operating the management rights, long term rental and caretaking businesses.  The engagement included:

 

  • Working with developer and Hilton through the design and construction phase including technical services, review of staff appointments and pre-opening strategy and implementation.

  • Asset Management of the project during the start-up phase; the hotel outperformed its competitive set within a period of difficult hotel market conditions.

  • Establishment and management of the letting rights business including acting as licensing real estate agent and company director, hiring of staff, establishment of business systems and processes, including interface with Hilton, and establishing and managing the caretaking business.

  • Initiation and implementation of the Building Management Statement processes that govern the relationship between the hotel, the residential body corporate and the retail lots.
